Verification of attending a coach's clinic that is not run or hosted by the Arizona Region is required to be signed and on file with the Region Office to extend your coaching certificate. If you attend a clinic please take the form with you, have them sign it and then submit it to the Region Office.
USA Volleyball offers CAP courses across the country every year. Check the USAV website for locations and dates. The Arizona Region tries to host a CAP course in the state every two years. The next course in Arizona will be Dec 2019. We plan to offer CAP I, CAP II, Beach CAP I.
If you are not a member of USAV the cost can be very expensive. You can save some money by registering with the AZ Region for a one event membership plus a background screen ($45 total for both) - it will drop the net cost about $65. Contact the AZ Region office for more information BEFORE you register for CAP.
The CAP Level I Course is open to ALL Coaches.
The CAP Level II class is open to all previously accredited Level I coaches for initial Level II accreditation or to previously accredited Level II coaches who wish to re-accredit.
Check-in for the CAP I & II courses, and additional modules will be on Saturday at 7:30 AM
Sessions on Saturday will run from 8 AM to 8 PM and the sessions on Sunday will run from 8 AM to 4 PM
If you wanted to attend additional modules to complete recertification or work towards certification then you can attend Saturday night and Sunday full day to gain the modules needed.
CAP I & II sessions will run concurrently on approximately the same schedule.

The AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) Convention offers volleyball coaches many opportunities to learn from some of the best collegiate coaches out there. The convention is run in conjunction with the NCAA Final 4 in December. Check the AVCA website for information on the next convention.
There is usually also a CAP course scheduled at the AVCA Convention. To attend the CAP Course or any of the modules, contact the USA Volleyball Education Department.
Gold Medal Squared coaching clinics are offered various times throughout the year. They are self described as the most comprehensive, most revolutionary, most valuable - in a word, the finest coaching clinics you will ever attend.
The clinics are "hands on" where a large portion of the three days is spent on the court. Coaches have the option to go through the drills, to re-learn the basic skills in the way that they will teach their players - they play volleyball (or if preferred, can observe others playing). Naturally this makes the clinics a lot more entertaining, and reinforces concepts in a way that classroom-only instruction can't.
If you have specific questions about any aspect of the GM2 clinics, please email them at firstname.lastname@example.org
