Luke Denton and 11 other USA athletes were selected to compete in the 2018 NORCECA Men’s U21 Continental Championship in Cuba.

Congratulations to Luke Denton of AZ Fear Volleyball Club and Desert Ridge HS!  He is on the final 12-member roster of the 2018 U.S. Men's Junior National Team that will compete in the 2018 NORCECA Men’s U21 Continental Championship August 27-September 2 in Havana, Cuba.  Luke recently played with the AZ Region 2018 Boys International Youth team in the U.S.A. High Performance Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where they finished 6th among tough competition.  Prior to that, he and his teammates with AZ Fear 18 JB finished 3rd at the U.S.A. Boys Junior National Championships.

AZ HP Program

Arizona native & Loyola commit Luke Denton has recently been selected to the 12-man Jr. National Roster. In 2017 Luke played for USA at HP, playing for the A1 team. This past summer we were fortunate enough to have Luke play with the Arizona High Performance team, and he was a major contributor to the team’s success in the International Division on a team that placed 6th overall.

According to AZHP head coach Taylor Stallman, “Luke just brings a different dynamic to each match. You can rely on him to make big swings, stop some strong outsides at the net, or score points from the service line. There were many games where he operated best in the clutch, sealing the deal with big points when you needed them most.”

Luke will be a great addition to the USA roster, and we look forward to seeing him perform at the highest level.
