Boys Club Forum is Saturday, August 3, 2024

The Boys Club Spring Forum is scheduled for Saturday, Aug 3rd. It will be held at 10 am - we have not secured a location just yet.

The Boys Forum is the required meeting to waive your annual Club Registration fee.

Boys Open House Period - NEW for 2025

The boys' tryout period is getting very competitive, like the girls did. So, we have instituted the same Open House Period policy for boys clubs as we have done for girls for several years.

Please read your Club Director emails for more information.

2024-2025 Boys Open House Period:

Wednesday, July 31st - Friday, August 9th.

Boys Tryouts and Schedule for 2025 Season

Boys tryouts may happen on or after Saturday, August 10th.

Due to increasing pressure to lock down facilities for our season, we have set the Boys 2025 Schedule to be:

• Boys #1 - Sept 21st
• Boys #2 - Sept 28th
• Boys #3 - Oct 12th
• Boys #4 - Oct 26th
• Boys #5 - Nov 9th
• Boys Region Championships - Dec 7
• Boys NCQ Entry deadline - Mon, Dec 2nd
• Boys NCQ tournament - TBA - depending on number of entries

Girls State HS Championships are November 16, 2024.

It has been a banner year for the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball in 2024. We have the most teams qualified for [GJNC] Girls Junior National Championships than ever before - great work!

• 7 teams qualified in Open - At-Larges still to be awarded
• 10 teams qualified in National Division
• 11 teams qualified in USA Division
• 10 teams qualified in Liberty
• 12 teams qualified in American
• 10 teams qualified in Freedom
• Many more will be attending in Patriot Division

That is a tentative total of 60 teams attending GJNC! That is awesome - great job everyone! Please brush up on your scoring and R2 officiating before you go. It will be important in that venue to be accurate.

SAVE THE DATE: The Fall General Assembly and Girls Forum is scheduled for Sunday, September 15, 2024. The RSVP email will come out in August.

Girls Tryouts 2025 Season

We have set the Girls Tryout dates for 2025 season. There are 5 weekends in November, 2024 so it allowed for a little bit of play in the schedule.

Girls State High School Championships are November 16th - so that day will be a Blackout Date for 15-18s Open House Periods.

• 14 and Younger Open House Period - Wed, Oct 23 - Fri, Nov 1
• 14 and Younger Tryouts - On or after Nov 2
• 15s and Older Open House Period - Tuesday, Nov 13 - Friday, Nov 22 with a blackout date of Sat, Nov 16 for Girls State HS Championships
• 15s and Older Tryouts - On or after Nov 23
