As some indoor teams wrap up their club seasons, the AZ Region ushers in new opportunities for juniors across the state.
Our #AZVolleyballMom shows us why you shouldn't wait to sign up for any event.
Hi there! Happy May!
I'm #AZVolleyballMom and super excited to share with you three great programs happening this summer in the AZ Region.
While my daughter has spent 10 years playing indoor club volleyball, I've found several indoor and beach opportunities you should check out.
Don't. Miss. THIS!
The Arizona Region of USA Volleyball is a tour stop for the USA National Beach Tour.
Sunday, May 2nd is the Arizona Desert Open - the Beach National Qualifier for 12s and 16s.
May 16th is the Arizona Desert Open for 14s and 18s.
The region's beach director, Eric Hodgson puts on the best events year after year! He really cares about the kids and it shows at the tourneys.
My daughter had an opportunity to try beach volleyball a few years ago and it was super fun! Register today. Then meet up at Victory Lane Sports Park with your water and sunscreen. It's worth a shot at a national bid!

Hands down. As an indoor volleyball fan, this is my favorite volleyball experience in the AZ Region! #AZHP director Ron Pelham and all the High Performance coaches make the region's HP program an incredible experience for athletes who want to reach their fullest potential at the highest level of competition.
This month, the Arizona Region of USA Volleyball will form a handful of boys and girls teams to compete at the USA Volleyball High Performance Championships.
The HP clinics are tryouts. Check out the dates and register all in one place.
Things to know:
The other good news is this. The 2021 High Performance Championships are in Phoenix this summer. My daughter was part of the 2019 team that went to Florida when the water was shut off. Being here at home in Arizona is a huge money saver and convenience factor. So sign up today!

We're blown away by how quickly our newest, experimental volleyball program is filling!
The "G-League" is a low cost option for 13-14s girls teams.
The AZ Region will help 12 teams get more touches on the ball, adjust to the higher net and tougher ball, and get the experience they'll need to reach a new competitive level next season.
From experience, I can tell you this age group benefits greatly from proper instruction. Getting down the footwork, learning how to pass, and keeping those nervous jitters under control all require extra time on the court!!
Just a few spots are still open. Any 12s teams interested in joining should contact the region today. Again, this program is run by Eric Hodgson. I know he'll make this worth your time and money. In fact, a spot on a team equates to just $10 per game night for each athlete. That's a bargain!
