ISO 12U Coach for 2020-2021 Season

Monster Athlete Volleyball Academy, a newly formed club in West Valley, is seeking a volunteer 12-U head coach for the upcoming 2021 season. The club is starting with a 12U program and planning to field 2 teams. The ideal candidate will have competitive playing experience at the HS, Club, or College level. Previous coaching experience is not required but will be a plus. The successful candidate will receive mentoring from the club director who brings 30 years of competitive coaching experience to the club including two club state championship wins and a HS state championship win. Club Director and Coach Vernick’s resume includes three decades of HS and Club head coaching experience and 18 years club director experience.  

We will hold tryouts in November and the teams will practice both together and separate at our two-court facility in Arrowhead.

Expectations for the successful candidate include coaching support at the November tryouts, participation in 2 practices per week during both the club pre-season and tournament season, and coaching his/her team at approximately six tournaments within AZ.
