Featuring 6 Division I coaches (Pepperdine, San Diego State, ASU, Loyola Marymount University, University of Pacific, and Northern Arizona University). 3 full days. Ages 6th -12th grades – Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced players. This showcase/camp is geared toward junior high and high school players looking to maximize their volleyball potential. Participants will receive all skills training, each college coach will teach unique specific positional skills. Anna Gott – 2013 NAU graduate and the Lumberjack’s all-time digs leader. Anna enters her sixth season as NAU’s assistant volleyball coach. This camp is one full day with 2 sessions (9am – 11:30am & 12:30 pm – 3 pm). Ages 6th-12th grades – The camp is geared for players who have a strong interest and passion to pursue and improve their defense and serve-receive skills. Players will be placed in a high-repetition challenging environment. Athletes will be exposed to various technical skills, including platform, footwork, digging under/overhand, and serve-receive passing. Campers will be taught tactical responsibilities of a libero. This camp is a full day with 2 sessions (9 am – 11:30 am & 12:30 pm – 3 pm). Ages 6th -12th grades – Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Players. This camp combines technical training of both attacking and blocking. Emphasis will be placed on footwork, approach, proper arm-swing, reading the block, maximizing vertical jump, swing blocking, hitting & blocking strategies. Emphasis will be placed on setter specific skills including footwork, setting mechanics, advanced concepts including setting various tempos, location, jump-setting and running different offenses.
