    Have officiated various levels and rule sets of volleyball for 27 years.
    Served as the Associate Official's Division Coordinator for the past 5 years.
    Have a clear understanding of the current Region policies.
    Over 30 years of experience in managing various projects, including the scheduling of personnel and meeting critical deadlines.
     
  3. Please state what your goals would be for this position:

    Work with the training directors to ensure that the training clinics are a uniformed platform.
    Continue to refine Region documentation and the information is accessible.
    Refine the advancement process for officials.

Gigi Prieto

  1. Please list your involvement within the Arizona Region since 2015:

    Since 2015 I have, on average, worked sixteen Arizona Regional tournaments and officiated over 120 matches per season.  When assigned as a Lead Official, I ensure prior to every event, Coaches and Parents understand the policies, procedures and possible sanctions. I also schedule the officials assigned to me and record any issues that may arise.  I have mentored and trained numerous adult officials.  I have run clinics to train Juniors as Scorers, R2s and Line Judges for many of our region clubs teams.
     
  2. Please state your qualifications for this position:

    I have been a member, in good standing, for nine years and have passed the USAV background screening many times along with being Safe Sport trained.  I have been involved with regional activities and operations since I joined the region.  I have a thorough knowledge of the regions policies, rules, regulations and operational procedures outlined not only in the Handbook and Policy Manual but also in the Region's Constitution and By-Laws.  I am a four star National Referee, given to International Referees.  I have the experience of successful advancement at every level, beginning with Provisional to the International level.  I have fifteen years of managerial experience with corporate business.
     
  3. Please state what your goals would be for this position:

    Develop a relationship with all region officials; find out their goals and work with them to achieve it.  Create a thorough Advancement Priority List.  Create a plan of action and set deadlines for all officials interested in advancement.  Continue the improvement of the training, advancement and success rate of our officials regionally and nationally.  Provide opportunities for region officials to become more involved in the officials division. Work to improve the relationship between Officials, Coaches, Players and Parents.
