The link to the AES page will be posted here when the tournament schedule is posted on AES.

Tournament Information

  • Coaches Meeting START Time: 7:30 am
  • Tournament START Time:  8 am

Region Championships tournaments are here. The format is very different than our regular power tournaments. The tournament will start the 1st match at 8 am and last most of the day. Lots of information follows. Please read it!!

Parents: There is no lunch break built into the tournament. Please plan ahead for food during the small break between pool play and the start of bracket play. The bracket play will start within a half hour of the end of the cross pool matches and the start of bracket play.  Penalties for being late to ref assignments or match play will be enforced.

NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED ON THE CAMPUSES OF ANY OF OUR SITES - NOT EVEN ON A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY FOR ADULTS ONLY.

Check-in should be completed by all teams at the tournament desk prior to the Coach's meeting. A picture ID for each coach on the roster is required along with a medical release form for each player on the roster. Please provide your verified SportsEngine roster or tournament specific AES roster.

It is the goal of the Arizona Region to schedule a paid R1 on every court, every tournament.  However, it is increasingly harder to do that.  Every coach should come prepared to R1 during the team ref assignment - bring a whistle.  If there is a paid R1 on your court, that is a bonus.  If there is not, you are prepared.

Rosters are required to have correct jersey numbers. The rosters will be checked off by the site director at check in.  All participants must be listed as verified on the roster to participate. Not on the roster, you cannot participate.

Division Play -

The seeding is based on the finish of the last power tournament. There was no movement up or down after the last tournament. Teams stayed in the order of finish for seeding of the Region Championships.
