The Arizona Region of USA Volleyball Board of Directors is dedicated to providing indoor and outdoor volleyball opportunities for its members to participate in a safe, positive and appropriately competitive environment.
The Board of Directors has set the 3rd week of each month as their standing board meeting timeframe. The meetings are open to the membership. If there is nothing on the agenda or a quorum will not be met the meeting may be cancelled on or near the meeting date. The Board meetings may be held at the Arizona Region office - 2220 S. Country Club Dr, Ste 108, Mesa, AZ 85210 - or via GoToMeeting
Guests that plan to attend a meeting should call the AZ Region office to make sure the meeting is being held and to let them know of planned attendance (to make sure we have a room big enough to hold those that want to attend or to offer the meeting code for online meetings). If a guest has something to address with the Board the item should be placed on the agenda at least 3 days prior to the meeting. The guest will be given 10 minutes to present the agenda item at the beginning of the meeting.

The Girls' Club Junior Forum meets at the General Assembly the 3rd Sunday of September and a date to be announced each spring. Spring 2025 meeting will be Sunday, May 4th at 1 pm at the AZ Region Office - 2220 S. Country Club Dr, Ste 108, Mesa, AZ 85210.
The Boys' Club Junior Forum traditionally meets at 10 am on the first Saturday of August. For 2025 that will be Aug 2nd at 10 am at the Arizona Region office.

The Arizona Region Board of Directors have an election due in the Spring of 2025. The position to be elected is the Corporate Secretary.
All full adult members are eligible to vote in the election. Junior members or partial membership types are not eligible to vote in the election.
The term of the service is 3 years.

The Nomination Form may be used to self nominate or to nominate another. If nominating someone other than yourself, please give them the Qualifications and Duties/Responsibilities of the Office to make sure they are qualified and are willing to serve. The individual being nominated should fill out the Nomination form on their own and submit to the Region Office - either by email or via mail - 2220 S Country Club Dr, Ste 108, Mesa, AZ 85210.
Nomination Forms are due in the Region Office no later than Wed, Apr 4, 2025. The candidates will then be vetted to make sure they meet the Qualifications before being placed on the ballot.
Voting will take place at the Region Championships tournaments starting with the 18 Open Region Championships on Apr 13.
