Important Tournament Information - Please Read!

  • COVID-19 Restrictions The health and safety of our participants is first and foremost in our minds as we set out on this season. Restrictions will be in place until such time as COVID-19 is no longer in the pandemic stage. These restrictions are to preserve the health and safety of our participants as well as allow the facilities we use to remain open for business. Those violating any of the restrictions will be asked to leave the premises and not return.

SPECTATORS: Spectators are not restricted. 

MASKS:  Spectators are encouraged to wear masks when inside the facilities when flu and COVID infections are running high.  Where social distancing cannot happen, all should wear a mask.  Reminder it is up to each individual to take care of their own health and do what is need to maintain their health - no matter what anyone else is doing.

TEAM CAMPS: Team camp areas should be restricted in size to provide social distancing and allow for the players and coaches to be present in the team camp.

REMINDER FOR TEAM CAMPS:  The AZ Region has a Pack It In, Pack It Out policy.  All team camps should be cleaned up at the end of the day and the trash from each team camp should be taken home to dispose of.  We need to help out the site directors and take our own trash home.

Club Tournament Seeding Format

  • Coaches Meeting: 7:30 am START Time (AM Wave) or 2:30 pm START Time (PM Wave)
  • Tournament START Time:  8 am or 3 pm
  • Check-in should be completed at the tournament desk prior to the Coach's meeting. A picture ID for each coach on the roster is required along with a medical release form for each player on the roster. At this point all rosters are complete in Webpoint (you have until Friday to contact the office for any roster issues).  Please provide your WebPoint roster (required).  No write-ins will be allowed.
  • Format - Teams are snake seeded into pools of 4 within either the top quartile, middle half, or bottom quartile of the division. Teams will complete pool play only. Following this tournament, teams will assume the seed of their finish and be straight seeded into divisions for the next tournament. Match play is best 2 of 3 sets to 25, 3rd set to 15, if needed.  No tie breaker sets will be played.
  • Pools 5/6 and 16/17 are 3 team pools that will play cross pool matches following pool play (1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 3).
  • (2/2/18) Pool 18 is now a 3 team pool and will play auto 3 set matches.
