As we start of the 2012 season let us be reminded that facilities are one of the most difficult parts of putting together a successful season. To that end, we MUST treat them with the utmost respect. That means keep your coffee, food and coolers outside, NO COOKING OF ANY KIND (includes crockpots, hotplates, sterno heated chafing dishes, barbeques, etc) on the premesis, pick up all the trash around your bench area and your "camp" area, NO ALCOHOL on site, and park in designated parking spaces only. Treat all facility personnel as if they have the authority to ask you to move your stuff because they do. Thanks for your help in making this a very successful season.

This is a seeding tournament. Teams are snaked seeded. Teams will take the seed of the corresponding finish of their bracket into next Championship tournament #2 on Feb. 4, or Club tourney #2 on Feb 11 (red is championship, black is club). All 18's teams will remain in championship. There are 72 teams attempting to qualify in 16 championship, 48 of those will remain in championship and the remaining 24 will play in Club on Feb 11. There are 49 teams attempting to qualify in 14 championship, 36 of which will remain in championship and 13 will move down to Club on Feb 11.

• Coaches Meeting: 1/2 hour prior to start time
• Tournament START Time:  AM Wave is 8 am, PM Wave is 3 pm.
• Check-in should be completed at the tournament desk prior to the Coach's meeting. A picture ID for each coach on the roster is required along with a medical release form for each player on the roster. A current WebPoint roster is required to be signed and turned into the site director for use at the tournament. Anyone not on the roster is not eligible to participate.
• Division 17 will play 3 team pools which will cross pool to determine finish - the crossing of the pool will be between all three pools involved. The 2nd and 3rd place finishers will play - the losers of those matches will not qualify for Championship Division. The winner of the 2 v 3 cross pool matches will then play the 1st place finisher for the seed placement of the division.
• New this year - One team will ref an entire match. The ref assignments are posted in the match info on the bracket sheet. Each team will supply an R2, 2 linesmen, Scorer, Libero Tracker and Score Flipper. The coach is required to be at the score table for teams in the 12's and 14's Division and courtside for all other ages. The work crew are not to leave their assignment unless the match ends or they are replaced by a teammate.
• PLEASE!!! Let the Arizona Region Office know if you will not be at the tournament PRIOR to Saturday. There is a $100 fine for teams that "no-show". The point is that it creates a big problem if there is a team that does not show.
• Coaches - please have your teams on site and ready to play at the start time even if they are to referee first round.  A "no show" at start time will change the division format immediately.  Everyone needs to be ready to play.
• Coaches you must be available during ref assignments to help with scorekeeping and officiating.  You are also responsible for your parent's behavior and "team camp" area clean up.
• ( ) around a team name indicates that we know that team is not playing in this tournament.
• Red team names or site information indicate a change after the original posting of the tournament.
