Jr Girls 16 Championship Region Championships

Coaches must have a CURRENT Signuptoplay Roster, Medical Release forms and Picture ID to check in. Your team will not begin playing until these are presented to the Site Director. Penalty points will accrue if late until it is completed. Anyone IN PROCESS on the roster in ineligible to participate.

Region Championship Info - Please Read - This is a different type of tournament than the regular season tournaments

Coaches meeting: 7:30 am, Play starts at 8 am. Afternoon bracket play is schedule to start at 2:00 or 2:30 pm depending on the division. Following movement, coaches are to check in with site director upon arrival at new site. Make sure to bring your pool play format page received at the morning coaches meeting to the new site for correct bracket placement.

Region Championship T-shirts will be sold at all sites. Cost is $15 per shirt. Cash or checks (payable to Arizona Region with team name in the memo) only. Find your team name on the shirt. They are all there!!

Awards Medals and Champion t-shirts will be given to the Gold Bracket champion in the 16 Championship and 16AAA Divisions. Medals will be given to the runner up in the Gold Bracket of the 16 Championship and 16AAA Division. Champion certificates will ge given to the winning team of each successive Division - Silver, Bronze, Flight 1, etc.

Format - Pool play followed by cross pool match to determine championship division bracket. The top 36 teams are competing in the 16 Championship Division; the remaining 16 Championship teams are competing in the 16AAA Division. All playoff brackets will be 4, 5 or 6 team single elimination brackets with consolation games for place where the numbers allow.

Following Pool Play - Each division will cross pool with the other pool in their division. The #1 finishers will play each other, the #2 finishers will play each other and the #3 finishers will play each other. The teams will then travel to their respective sites for championship play. Go directly to the site - do not stop for lunch. Bracket is schedule to START at 2:00 or 2:30 pm.

16 Championship Gold Division will be played at ASU Tempe PE West - places 1-6 - winner of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

16 Championship Silver Division will be played at South Mtn CC - places 7 - 12 - loser of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

16 Championship Bronze Division will be played at Valley Lutheran HS - places 13 - 18 - winner of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

16 Championship Flight 1 Division will be played at Atkinson Pavilions - places 19 - 24 - loser of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

16 Championship Flight 2 Division will be played at Atkinson Pavilions - places 25 - 30 - winner of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

16 Championship Flight 3 Division will be played at Bourgade HS - places 31 - 36 - loser of 3rd place cross pool matches in Div. A-F

16AAA Gold Division will be played at Youngker HS - places 37 - 41 - winners of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A - E

16AAA Silver Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 42 - 46 - losers of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A - E

16AAA Bronze Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 47 - 51 - winners of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A - E

16AAA Flight 1 Division will be played at Youngker HS - places 52 - 56 - losers of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A - E

16AAA Flight 2 Division will be played at Youngker HS - places 57 - 60 - winners of the 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A - D and 3rd place in pool E1

16AAA Flight 3 Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 61 - 64 - losers of the 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A - D
