Jr Girls 14 Championship Region Championships

Coaches must have a CURRENT Signuptoplay Roster, Medical Release forms and Picture ID to check in. Your team will not begin playing until these are presented to the Site Director. Penalty points will accrue until it is completed. Anyone on the Roster that is IN PROCESS is not eligible to participate.

NOTE: The tournament was revised again. Originally we thought we had missed a team. It turns out we had the correct numbers but we missed a team and had a team that did not belong - so the numbers deceived us. We have put the format back the way it was originally, took out the team that does not belong and moved everyone up a place. Pool F1 & F2 will again take place on one court. I apologize for this confusion.

Region Championship Info - Please Read - This is a different type of tournament

Coaches meeting: 7:30 am, Play starts at 8 am. Afternoon bracket play is schedule to start at 2 pm. Following movement, coaches are to check in with site director upon arrival at new site. Make sure to bring your pool play format page received at the morning coaches meeting to the new site.

Region Championship T-shirts will be sold at all sites. Cost is $15 per shirt. Cash or checks (payable to Arizona Region with team name in the memo) only. Find your team name on the shirt. They are all there!!

Awards Medals and Champion t-shirts will be given to the Gold Division champion only. Medals will be given to the runner up in the Gold Divisions. Division Champion certificates will ge given to the winning team of each successive Division - Silver, Bronze, Flight 1, etc.

Format - Pool play followed by cross pool match to determine championship division bracket. All playoff brackets will be 4, 5 or 6 team single elimination brackets with consolation games for place where the numbers allow.

Following Pool Play - Each pool will cross pool with the other pool in their division. The #1 finishers will play each other, the #2 finishers will play each other and the #3 finishers will play each other. The teams will then travel to their respective sites for championship play. Go directly to the site - do not stop for lunch. Bracket is schedule to START at 2 pm.

14 Championship Gold Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 1 - 6 - winner of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

14 Championship Silver Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 7 - 12 - loser of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

14 Championship Bronze Division will be played at Youngker HS - places 13 - 18 - winner of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

14 Championship Flight 1 Division will be played at Youngker HS - places 19 - 24 - loser of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-F

14 Championship Flight 2 Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 25 - 29 - winner of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-E

14 Championship Flight 3 Division will be played at Buckeye HS - places 30 - 34 - loser of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-E
