Jr Girls 16 Club Region Championships

Coaches must have a CURRENT Signuptoplay Roster, Medical Release forms and Picture ID to check in. Your team will not begin playing until these are presented to the Site Director. Penalty points will accrue until it is completed. Anyone IN PROCESS on the roster in ineligible to participate.

Region Championship Info - Please Read - This is a different type of tournament

Coaches meeting: 7:30 am, Play starts at 8 am. Afternoon bracket play is schedule to start at 12:30 or 2 pm depending on the division. Following movement, coaches are to check in with site director upon arrival at new site. Make sure to bring your pool play format page received at the morning coaches meeting to the new site.

Region Championship T-shirts will be sold at all sites. Cost is $15 per shirt. Cash or checks (payable to Arizona Region with team name in the memo) only. Find your team name on the shirt. They are all there!!

Awards Medals and Champion t-shirts will be given to the Gold Division champion in the AA and A Divisions. Medals will be given to the runner up in the Gold Divisions of the AA and A Division. Champion certificates will ge given to the winning team of each successive Division - Silver, Bronze, Flight 1, etc.

Format - Pool play followed by cross pool match to determine championship division bracket. The top 24 teams are competing in the 16AA Division; the remaining 16 Club teams are competing in the 16A Division. All playoff brackets will be 4, 5 or 6 team single elimination brackets with consolation games for place where the numbers allow.

Following Pool Play - each pool will cross pool with the other pool in their division. The #1 finishers will play each other, the #2 finishers will play each other and the #3 finishers will play each other. The teams will then travel to their respective sites for championship play. Go directly to the site - do not stop for lunch. Bracket is schedule to START at 2 pm.

16AA Gold Division will be played at ASU Tempe PE West Bldg - places 1 - 4 - winner of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16AA Silver Division will be played at ASU Tempe PE West - places 5 - 8 - loser of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16AA Bronze Division will be played at Salvation Army - places 9 - 12- winner of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16AA Flight 1 Division will be played at Salvation Army - places 13 - 16 - loser of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16AA Flight 2 Division will be played at Greenfield School - places 17 - 20 - winner of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16AA Flight 3 Division will be played at Greenfield School - places 21 - 24 - loser of 3rd place cross pool matches in Div. A-D

16A Gold Division will be played at Barney Family Complex - places 25 - 28 - winner of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-D.

16A Silver Division will be played at Barney Family Complex - places 29 - 32 - loser of 1st place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16A Bronze Division will be played at Barney Family Complex - places 33 - 36 - winner of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16A Flight 1 Division will be played at Barney Family Complex - places 37 - 40 - loser of 2nd place cross pool matches in Pools A-D

16A Flight 2 Division will be played at Chandler Gilbert CC - places 41 - 43 - winner of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-C and 3rd place in pool D1

16A Flight 3 Division will be played at Chandler Gilbert CC - places 44 - 46 - loser of 3rd place cross pool matches in Pools A-C
