Crush Lives Up to Name in 14A Regional Championship

The 13-Crush made it an Arrowhead sweep of the 14's division with a win over the Tuba City Starlings 14's team in the 14A Division of Regionals held April 30th.

Head Coach Karleah Lee was ecstatic over her team's gritty performance. "In the championship game, they were down 19-24, but they fought hard and never gave up and won. I'm so proud of them!" Lee gushes.

The Crush started the season seeded 46th out of 93 teams but saved their best for the last day. "They had a lot of heart and desire and really improved over the season." Lee says, adding, "They came together at Regionals and finally played the kind of ball we've wanted to play all season."

"We had a lot of girls that had the drive." Lee says of her girls. "They just had a great attitude and they worked really well together."
