2014 Summer Camps / Clinics

The Arizona Region does not endorse any camp.  The information listed is for your information only and is listed as received.  We have no other information other than what is posted here. Please contact the camp directors directly for any information.

For Skills Camps and Clinics that take place in August, girls that have tried out and made their high school team prior to the camp/clinic should not participate to avoid any AIA participation violations. If the clinic is held PRIOR to the high school tryouts or posting of the team, there should be no issues with AIA eligibility.

For clinics or camps that fall after September 1st and before the published tryout dates, no tryouts may take place at the camp, no club registration may take place and no girls participating on a high school team may participate in the clinics or camps.

Ignite Volleyball Club

Ignite Volleyball Club 2014 Fall Clinic/Open Gyms

Looking to find a positive and challenging volleyball clinic/open gym for your son or daughter? Ignite VBC will be providing several open gyms and clinics in September, October and November designed to get your athlete ready for club season this fall. And also to have a great time playing the game we all love.

We will be providing something different than what you and your daughters may have experienced at some of the other area camps (tons of athletes on a court with 1 or 2 coaches – high athlete to coach ratio). We will keep the numbers low and coach ratio high.

The sessions will involve 30-45 minutes of skill development. Each week we’ll focus on a specific drill (serving, setting, passing, hitting, etc). We’ll be using our TiVo camera setup so that they see themselves doing the drill/skill. Studies have shown that visual feedback is best for motor skill learning. Then we’ll spend the remaining amount of time scrimmaging and playing specific game-like drills. You can find more information and register here - >
