Boys' 2012 Season About to Begin
The medals are not even on the wall yet for the 2011 season and the 2012 season is just around the corner. That is the nature of the beast with the boys' split seasons. The Arizona Region boys 2012 indoor season will be completed before the 2012 ball drops in Times Square but the National Championships does not take place until late June/early July. The split season comes into play because the boys indoor game has to take a hiatus for the boys high school volleyball season which takes place between February and May. Those teams that travel to the SoCal Jr Boys Classic in June or the Boys Jr National Championships will reform after the boys high school season is completed to compete in those events. Some hold new tryouts, some just pick up where they left off.
Arizona Region opportunites for boys to play volleyball - indoor between Aug and December and outdoor (beach) between May and Aug.
Boys' clubs are gearing up for tryouts for their indoor teams. Tryouts may begin as early as Aug 1st. Click here to access the tryouts that have been posted on our website. Click here for a list of boys clubs in Arizona.
Any boy that was not registered for the just ended 2011 season must register for a Summer membership to cover the month of August. Then EVERYONE must renew their membership on or after Sept 1st in the WebPoint registration system for the 2012 season. Click Here for brand new members to join the Arizona Region. Click Here after Sept 1st to renew membership for the 2012 season.
