Team Coaches to Head Camp in West Valley!

The Deer Valley High School
Boys Volleyball will will be hosting the USA Men's National Team
coaches at a boy’s volleyball clinic on January 30-31st at the
school located at 51st Ave and Union Hills in Glendale. The cost
of this special event is $225 per athlete.

The USA
Men’s National Team Coaching Staff includes:
Alan Knipe – Current
National Team Head Coach. Spent the last 9 years as Head
Coach at Long Beach State University
Gary Sato – Current
Assistant Coach for the National Team. Former Assistant
Coach for the 1988 and 1992 National Teams.
Chris Jackson – Current
Technical Coordinator for the National Team. ARIZONA native.
Former Assistant Coach at USC and Grand Canyon University. |

The tentative camp schedule
is as follows:

Camp will include a talk by
current National Team Head Coach Alan Knipe on “How to play volleyball
in college” during part of a session.
Camp is open to ALL COACHES
as well. A fee of $25 will be charged per Coach and the camp
can be used as an IMPACT Recertification course with attendance
in three of the five sessions. (This
form must be signed off to count towards IMPACT recertification)
Only 100 athletes will be
allowed in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Each athlete
will receive 12.5 hours of instruction and is a perfect way to
start the High School season and if interested, a prelude to
the boy’s High Performance Tryouts.

clinic. Walk Ups will be accepted.
