USAV IMPACT Webinars See Below  

The schedule will be expanded as soon as the full schedule is ready. The times and locations will be posted as soon as possible. Clinics listed in black are $25 per person. Clinics listed in green are $50 per person. The clinic on Jan 20th is $100 per person.

All coaches must be IMPACT certified BEFORE the first tournament is played. Any coach that is not certified or is not current in their coaching certification prior to the first tournament is not eligible to participate with the team AND the club may be sanctioned for violating a Region requirement of having all coaches certified before the first tournament.

To sign up for a clinic email or call (480-626-6740) the Region Office to reserve a spot.

IMPACT Attendees -
Please come prepared to participate on the court in drills or demonstrations and bring a pen or pencil to take notes. An IMPACT Manual and Supplemental Handouts will be provided to each person attending the clinic.

The cost of each clinic is dependent on the timeframe it is taken. Clinics held between the General Assembly and the end of December are $25 per person. Clinics held after the beginning of January will be $50 per person. Clinics held after January 14th will be a minimum of $100 per person. For those outside the Phoenix metro area - the first clinic held in your zone is $25 per person. The second clinic held in your zone (if needed) is $50 per person. Payment can be made at the door, sent in prior to the clinic or billed to the club. You will need prior approval from your club for the fee to be charged to the club. Cash, credit card, or checks payable to Arizona Region are acceptable forms of payment. Clinics listed above are: $25 per person, $50 per person, $100 per person

Northern and Southern Arizona Clinics
Coaches in the Southern Region can sign up for IMPACT clinics in Tucson. The dates and locations will be posted on the schedule as they are known. Coaches in the Northern Region will also have clinics held in Flagstaff or Prescott at least once a season. NOTE: the first clinic held in your zone is $25 per person. The second clinic held in your zone (if needed) is $50 per person.

Hosting IMPACT
We are always looking for sites for IMPACT clinics. If you would like to host an IMPACT Clinic, let us know the date and time your site is available. A minimum of 4 hours is required to have an IMPACT Clinic. A classroom next to the gym is recommended but not required. If a gym only, there must be bleachers or chairs for the participants to sit on and a white board or chalk board. Your club will be credited 4 IMPACT Clinics for hosting an IMPACT Clinic.

USAV IMPACT Webinars

USA Volleyball will again be offering IMPACT Webinars for coaches to take IMPACT online. The webinars require two consecutive evenings and a test to be completed to receive certification. Below is the webinar dates as of Sept 2010. Changes to the schedule may happen. Please check the USAV website to register and for a current/complete schedule.

EARLY/PRE-SEASON Period Webinar Dates:

Unless stated otherwise (check the individual date Listing & Registration information page), all Webinars between September 15 and December 31, 2010 will be scheduled from 7:30 to 10:00 pm EST each night (6:30 CST; 5:30 MST; 4:30 PST).  To encourage EARLY certification, the cost during this EARLY/PRE-SEASON Period is $50 per coach (late fees may apply if registering within 2 days of the start of a Webinar Clinic date). Group discounts are available to Clubs or Regions for groups (minimum of 10) attending one of the regularly scheduled Webinar Clinic dates below, in one location with a single internet/audio connection and facilitated on-site by Club Director or Region Staff.  Contact Andy or Diana at the National Office for more details.

USAV Education reserves the right to cancel dates with fewer than 5 coaches registered; coaches will be re-assigned to the next available date in this case.

Coaches who cancel for any reason and request a refund will receive their fees less a 10% processing charge, or may be re-assigned to the next Webinar date with no penalty.

These dates are anticipated 2011-12 dates. The schedule has not been posted by USAV as of 7/12/11.

Contact the USAV Education Department for information on available Club Discounts or to arrange a special IMPACT Webinar date for your Club Coaches.

USAV Education reserves the right to cancel dates with fewer than 5 coaches registered; coaches will be re-assigned to the next available date in this case.

Example of IMPACT Webinar

Day 1

  • Part 1 of the IMPACT Webinar will begin at 7:30 pm ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 pm PT).  It will last approximately 2.5 hours (including Q & A and breaks). 

Day 2

  • Part 2 will begin will begin at 7:30 pm ET (6:30 CT, 5:30 MT, 4:30 pm PT) for another 2.5 hour time block.

The registration INCLUDES BOTH Part 1 and Part 2 on the selected night. 
Cost for these IMPACT online Webinars are $65 per individual until 5/1/2012, $80 per individual between 5/1/2012 and 6/27/2012; (late fees may apply if registering within 2 days of the start of a Webinar Clinic date)
·Attendees taking advantage of pre-season or in-season Webinars will enjoy a lower fee; as we approach the 2012 Junior Championships, prices will go up, so register to attend NOW!

SMALL GROUP IMPACT WEBINAR

USAV are also offers a DISCOUNTED PRICE for small groups of coaches from the same club/organization who wish to gather at one location, with access via one log-in/internet connection and one phone line.  Contact USAV for pricing for a group of up to 10 coaches.  Please pass this on to your Club Director's and encourage them to contact us for more details if interested, or they may register for the group on line at the same link as above.

Once individuals or small groups register online, they will receive a confirmation email with Webinar log-in instructions and links to the pertinent materials for their chosen date. 

Students will need a laptop or desktop computer and a phone line for the 800 number call to access the audio portion of the presentation (a speakerphone option is best for this, or a headset that can plug into your phone (or into your computer if using that to call into the webinar).

Immediately after each Webinar session (Part 1 & 2), attendees will receive an on-screen Webinar evaluation survey, and another email with follow within 2 days with the online testing instructions. IMPACT students will have 2 weeks following the Webinar to take and pass the IMPACT test online.  At the end of the 2 week period, USAV will issue IMPACT certificates via email to coaches with passing test scores - and will copy that coach's home Region Office as well.
