Coaching Certification Requirements

The Arizona Region has revised its policy on the education requirements of our junior coaches. The premise of this is that the coaches of our junior teams have more impact on the players than any other part of the game (parents and officials, etc). Therefore, the following requirements apply to all our coaches – Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and “Floating” Coaches. All first year coaches must take IMPACT before they may coach in any tournament – preferably before they hold any practices. It is the Club Director’s responsibility to make sure their coaches are properly certified before they may coach at ANY tournament. It is the coach's responsibility to make sure they get into an IMPACT or IMPACT + course before the first tournament. Any coach not certified will not be allowed to participate at any tournament.
