Region Hosts Coach's Clinic
The Arizona Region is offering the second annual Coach's Clinic - an opportunity to learn from four high level collegiate coaches sharing their insights on skills, drills and the game itself.
The coaches we have secured for this clinic are: Scott Swanson - Head Coach South Carolina Univ, Dan Fisher - Head Coach Concordia University - Irvine, plus two more coaches being secured.
The clinic will be held Friday, Jan 13, 2012 at the Court One Facility - 9100 S. McKemy St, Tempe, 85284 (south of Warner and west of Kyrene). Start time is 5 pm and will be completed by 10 pm. Each coach will talk for about an hour.
To reserve a spot for this clinic, mail or email the Registration Form before Jan 6, 2012 to the AZ Region Office - mail to Arizona Region, 9100 S. McKemy St, Tempe, AZ 85284, or email the information to office@azregionvolleyball.org The cost is $60 per person if registered before Jan 6th. $75 per person after Jan 6th and for walk ups.
Coaches may be asked to participate in on court drills and should dress appropriately.
By attending a minimum of two of the four sessions, the coach may fulfill the coaching recertification requirement for the AZ Region. Verification forms will be available at the clinic to get credit for this.
For coaches that need to check in for Fiesta Classic during this time: You can check in at Court One PRIOR to 3 pm. After 3 pm you will have to make arrangements for another person to check in at ASU or come to ASU before you play on Saturday. If you play a AM wave at an out site you can check in after you play on Saturday morning.

Gold
Medal Squared coaching clinics are offered various times throughout
the year. They are self described as the most comprehensive, most revolutionary, most valuable - in a word, the finest
coaching clinics you will ever attend.
The
clinics are "hands on" where a large portion of the three days is spent on the court. Coaches have
the option to go through the drills, to re-learn the basic skills in
the way that they will teach their players - they play volleyball (or
if preferred, can observe others playing). Naturally this makes the
clinics a lot more entertaining, and reinforces concepts in a way that
classroom-only instruction can't.
If
you have specific questions about any aspect of the GM2 clinics, please
email them at info@goldmedalsquared.com
