Molten Women Ride Season Domination to Region Title

The Molten Women rode their impressive 17-2 season record to a Women’s A/AA Region Championship, defeating Team Absolute in the final on May 1 st.

Molten coach Jolynn Faatulu said the day went well for her team. “We were strong throughout the day. Everybody came in pretty healthy.” Said Faatulu. While their record reflected success, they actually finished third and fifth in their first two tournaments, but took first in February.

With a smattering of former ASU Sun Devils littering the roster, Faatulu thinks the key for her Molten Women was continuity.

“There’s a core that’s been together for a while.” She says. “The core group continuously plays together and it helps when you are playing with the same girls every single year.”
